Ideal Relief Wing (IRW) is a registered NGO ( Non Government Organisation) established in 1992 with a vision to serve the society by providing trained volunteer services in dire situations of natural catastrophes i.e earth quakes, floods, accidents, landslides, epidemics and other social disturbances like riots, among others. IRW has multifaceted approach while predominantly focusing in rescue, relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction in the affected areas with an emphasize to ensure normal life to the affected people by all means

Based in Calicut, Kerala, IRW marked its presence by providing skilled volunteering services at calamities and mishaps since its inception. IRW has constituted and developed a team of organised, skilled and dedicated volunteers spread across the state of Kerala, whose services are ensured at any time to the society. The team consists of male and female rescuers medical practitioners , para-medics, and volunteers trained to meet the necessities of unprecedented tragedies and trained to act effectively and spontaneously in any calamities.
